OOTD// Supreme Waist

Hey all! Yesterday was National Air Max Day, and I missed it by just one! I wanted to dress a little hype because it was the grand opening of a friend’s store called Original Grail. It is a consignment store specializing in streetwear. They carry an array of brands such as Supreme, Bape, Adidas, Nike, etc. I don’t own a lot of “streetwear” brand items so I made do with what I had, which was a pair of black Supreme boxers and 3 stylish sneakers to choose from. The 3 stylish sneakers were Ultra Metallic Bronze Air Max 97, Adidas Yeezy Boost 350 V2 Beluga 2.0, and Nike Air Mac 270 in black & white. The Ultra Metallic Bronze Air Max 97 was my final choice because I felt that the Air Max 270 was too casual and the Yeezy Belugas’ were too much hype when paired with Supreme, for my taste anyway. nike-air-max-97-ultra-metallic-bronze-release-date-03

I had to begin my styling starting with the Supreme boxer and the Bronze Air Max 97. I intended to layer the boxers under some bottoms with the branding showing. I decided on a simple black skirt to match the black waist band. With high waist in mind, I gave myself the options of a crop top or a body suit. I  started with a black crop top, but felt very bare with the short skirt so I layered a mesh body suit underneath. I wanted to add some edge with a thin black choker. Listed some details on where my outfit is from!

Choker- Forever 21

Crop top- Jeans Warehouse Ala moana

Body suit- Forever 21 brand, thrifted from Plato’s closet

If ever on Oahu, be sure to check out Original Grail for street-gear located on the corner of Piikoi and Waimanu St. Thanks for looking!

Love,
